I've had the pleasure of working with a really sweet client of mine for almost a year now, Theresa. She has great style, a big family, and wanted her home office to feel like a real workspace, separate from her household. She worked out of the spare guest bedroom that had a twin bed in one of the corners and a small wooden desk in the other corner. The walls were dark and there was very poor lighting. We wanted the space to feel cohesive with the rest of the house, which is bright and warm with a modern farm-house vibe. Here is the end result - wallah!
We layered a large jute & neutral rug over the existing carpet to give the space a fresh new feel. The walls were painted in Sherwin Williams "Silverplate", a great light gray with just enough POP.
