Vanessa Matsalla
Studio Matsalla Interiors is a full-service design studio located in San Diego, specializing in both residential and boutique commercial projects. After starting her career working alongside two prominent designers in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2006, Vanessa opened the doors to her firm in 2014.
Vanessa’s eye for artfully pairing modern and warm interiors has garnered the attention of Better Homes & Gardens, The Washington Post, Domino Magazine, Arch Daily and San Diego Magazine.
Vanessa lives in Cardiff by the Sea with her husband Jude and five year old, Paloma. When she isn’t designing spaces for her wonderful clients, you can find her sewing, taking watercolor classes, practicing yoga and dreaming up her next travel itinerary.
